The Garden of Senses and Myths winds through centuries-old trees, in a vibrant celebration of plants and shrubs. Myth joins Botany, and Ritual is heralded by the powerful Art that catches essence of Alessandro Twombly for your very personal “Voyage of Odysseus / Ulisse”.
Take special activities with researcher and Garden Designer Emilia Scarpone in the Garden of the Senses and the Myths - dedicated to Greco Roman Cosmology of Gods and their archetypes & plants: from self-growth, empowering one’s archetype, to understanding the power of the different herbs of the Gods, to natural cosmetic making with Aphrodite…
About Us & Press
Villa Lina’s curator is Paola Igliori Lante writer and filmmaker. Who came back stably to Villa Lina , after a decade shared between Africa and Villa Lina and two decades in New York in that unique moment of artistic and cultural revolution of 1980:
Amongst her major work : "Entrails, Heads and Tails" - the roots of the creative process from Louise Bourgeois to Sigmar Polke - Rizzoli 1994, "Stickman" - dropping all masks, a look at real power- with co-founder of the American Indian Movement A.I.M.John Trudell 1992, "American Magus: Harry Smith, A Modern Alchimist" 1994 and Semiotext(e) 2003, ( Precursor of the Getty Museum 2001 and Whitney Museum Retrospectives on Harry Smith as the hidden influence on the 20th Century American Magus film - Rotterdam Film Festival 2003.
She also worked with powerful healers : Ramamurti S. Mishra M.D “ The text book of Yoga Psychology, Anchor Press 1973 - Wallace Black Elk “Black Elk , the Sacred ways of a Lakota” 1990 - Ron Young , Healing Wisdom.
Igliori carried her research — at the crossroads of Art, the roots of Creativity, and the Cosmology of Nature —from Native America to Africa, across cultures and disciplines, keeping alive the Renaissance spirit of research and interconnectedness of her ancestor Federico da Montefeltro that helped start the Italian Renaissance, and bringing it back to Villa Lina.
Research on the hidden language of Nature, on the power of the visible and the invisible and the reflection of the macrocosm and the microcosm, going to the roots of dynamics between trauma and creativeness and the power of healing through real connection to the infinite power of Nature, Creativity and the Creative Mind.

Born at Villa Lina, My Flower blends nature, botanical research, and sustainable beauty inspired by 40 hectares of protected historic gardens. Created by Paola Igliori and Emilia Scarpone, our natural skincare uses plant-based active ingredients to nourish and renew the skin. Our collection also includes extra virgin olive organic oil, botanical essences, and other products inspired by the richness of Villa Lina.
